At this point the restaurant appeared half full in our area inside. She was pleasant and tried to do a good job. While she tried to laugh it off, it was obvious that she was stressed to the max. Our waitress was running (fast walking) back and forth between her tables in different sections. How romantic! We had 6:30 reservations and it took 15 minutes for our waitress to wait on us. Especially since it was so noisy that we had to yell at each other to communicate. I thought I was on the school yard tetter-totter. We had to move because the group behind me kept bouncing up and down. The hostess walked us around the bar and seated us in a booth which wasn’t much better than a glorified picnic table. We made reservations which were not needed. If you’re looking for an intimate dining experience, forget it. You have two choices…parking in another restaurant’s parking lot or. Since Captain Hiram’s Resort is across the street there really isn’t any extra parking there. The restaurant only has about 12 parking spots in the front.
